Terms of Service

By creating an account or otherwise using AimForCareers (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

AimForCareers provides AI-assisted career tools, including resume analysis and job-match scoring, an AI career coach, AI-generated career recommendations, career action tracking, optional job search and tracking, and AI-driven interview practice. The Service relies on OpenAI to generate the AI-related outputs described in the Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old and create an account to use most features. Account creation and sign-in are handled through Clerk, our authentication provider. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Pro Monthly and Pro Annual are recurring subscriptions until canceled. Job Search Sprint is a one-time purchase providing paid access for 60 days and does not renew automatically. Prices and billing intervals are shown before checkout.

A full refund may be requested within 7 calendar days after a successful paid-plan charge, subject to the complete Refund Policy. Canceling a recurring plan prevents future renewals but does not itself refund an earlier charge.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, security controls, or access restrictions.
• Submit another person's personal or career information without the right to do so.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract the Service's underlying software, models, or data beyond your own account's data.
• Use the Service to generate content intended to deceive employers, candidates, or third parties (for example, fabricated credentials).
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

You retain ownership of the resumes, job descriptions, career profile details, messages, and other content you submit (“Your Content”). By submitting Your Content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit it — including to OpenAI and, where applicable, Adzuna — solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you as described in the Privacy Policy.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of Your Content. You should avoid submitting highly sensitive personal information that is not necessary for career assistance.

Match scores, feedback, skill-gap analysis, career recommendations, coach responses, and interview evaluations are generated using an AI model and are provided for informational purposes only. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or inapplicable to your specific circumstances.

AI-generated content is not professional career counseling, legal, financial, or employment advice, and does not guarantee any outcome (including interview performance, job offers, or hiring decisions). You are responsible for independently evaluating and verifying any AI-generated content before relying on it.

The Service depends on third-party providers, including Clerk (authentication), OpenAI (AI processing), our database and hosting providers, and, where enabled, Adzuna (job search listings). Each of these providers operates under its own terms of service and privacy policy, which are not part of this document and which we do not control. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of these third-party services.

The Service's software, design, and branding (excluding Your Content and any third-party components) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Service to you.

The Service is provided on an ongoing-development basis and may be modified, interrupted, or discontinued, in whole or in part, at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and features (including optional integrations like job search) may not always be available or configured.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF AI-GENERATED OR OTHER CONTENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, OPPORTUNITY, OR EMPLOYMENT OUTCOME, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

You may stop using the Service at any time and may permanently delete your account and associated data from your Profile page, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you have violated these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

The Service is operated by DeQuincy Dixon, doing business as AimForCareers, from Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
